Pastor Michael R. Martin has over 45 years of experience in the ministry including serving as pastor and in encouraging people from all walks of life.  He is a 1977 and 1978 graduate of Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem, NC with a Bachelor degree in Theology and a Bachelor degree in Christian Education. He has served in many churches through the area in pulpit supply for local pastors as well as served as interim for many churches looking for a pastor.  He also has served in a prison ministry as Chaplin, and served as Chaplin in an assisted living facility. Currently, Pastor Martin is age 71 with his wife, Cheryl, age 69, and they have 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Pastor Martin and his wife, Cheryl, has served at Crusade Baptist Church since May of 2015.  His ministry focuses on expository preaching and Bible teaching.
